Quiet morning today.
At dawn, there isn’t much skater traffic to worry about and no roll ups to stomped tricks to listen for, so I usually wear headphones.
The noise pollution in the area convinced me that skating in the middle of nowhere would be more suitable for me. This morning, while listening to the birds wake up and the wind that skirts along the trees, I also listened to a slow-moving train, heavy, rusted, and graffitied, along with the nearby highway coming alive with a constant stream of semi-trucks and early morning commuters.
Just the birds and trees would suffice for me.
Hence, the music.
