Short skate today.
Usually skateboarding will take my mind off things, but today I couldn’t help but think about work. I have papers to grade and want them off my plate before the weekend, so even with trying to pull a manual 360 on a bank (after seeing someone my age do it on Insta yesterday), I was distracted with thoughts about papers and grades and comments and on and on.
I guess the bright side is I’ll get that work done today, even if I lose out on a beautifully crisp autumn morning.
