Forced myself over to the park today.
Didn’t want to get out of bed. Didn’t want to be awake. But, alas, wakefulness is inevitable.
To be fair, the sky and its light were beautiful this morning and it was only frigid for the first five minutes or so. I would have liked to stay longer, actually, but with dawn approaching 7:00 am, there isn’t much time to shred before the day has to begin.
I was happy I got out, even if it was forced and a bit short because my day feels like it’s started with the right energy. What a slug I’d be otherwise!
