“Daily” Skate 13 Feb 2023

A busy life means weak knees and heaving lungs at the skatepark.

I got lucky today with a post-morning/lunch skate session, if you want to call it that. Winter has me faltering more than I’d like, especially with memories of summer sunrise skates countering the often grey winter weather, so I only managed what I’ll claim was thirty minutes.

Still, the sky was clear and blue with a steady 40-something temperature, so a good skate in all.

If only I’d watched the video about the learning process in skateboarding suggested by my number 1 reader in response to my blog post from February 1st. Had I listened to physicist and skater, Dr. Tae, I might’ve focused another 30 minutes on this bank blunt stall to fakie I’ve been shaking my head at lately.

Here’s hoping the weather keeps for another day or two—no ice would work.

Today was a good skate. I managed to skate for thirty minutes. I am still trying to figure out the learning process for skating, but I am doing better.
Can you let me know when your new blog posts will come out?

    Thank you
