“Daily” Skate 03 March 2023

This time the geese at the park were small children and their parents.

I stretched in another part of the park for a while, but they left once I put wheels to concrete—though I’d hoped I wouldn’t push them to go.

Still, it was a good skate with some progress showing. The tail stall (should I call it a blunt?) on the bank lip is closer to becoming a regular move, but I noticed today that I’m not getting my front wheels over the lip on the return into fakie—something that won’t work on coping, I imagine.

Anyway, I worked the piece of metal out of my wheel, though I still don’t know exactly where it came from. Maybe it’s a piece of a square rail? A broken off piece of a truck? Who knows?

The piece of metal that was stuck in my wheel.
