Despite the forecast for nice weather (which is fantastic today, by the way), the skatepark was drenched when I arrived.
Last week we had some drizzle in the morning that cut me short, but, at the outset, a little precipitation didn’t hinder my riding too much. Today, though, the concrete was wet with water on top.
I foresaw myself, having warmed up, going in for a trick with real effort only to have my board slip out from under me—so I rolled back and forth a bit, being sure to get my setup nice and wet before calling it.
Oh, well, call it a rest day.
