It may sound like a lie, but today was the first time I felt I was getting old. Okay, I’m in my mid-late 30’s—not super old. Still.
This morning I rode around, as usual, before working on my ollie. Well, the last ollie I did tweaked, tinged or turned something in my hip flexor. The trick is a recent development in my current practice, digging deep into when I worked on it back in my teen years, so there is a lot of work to be done there. And, of course, it would lead to a mishap.
It’s nothing serious, but it felt like when you stand up at an awkward angle or roll out of bed the wrong way, and something immediately hurts. So dumb.
Oh, well. I had to cut the session short, but it looks like rain, anyway.
