I just posted a reel on Instagram that describes how today’s session felt. The noisy life quieted under polyurethane decibels—the sun came up—shadows lengthened then shortened—the day began while I mastered novice moves.
I love the mental space created by skateboarding. Once the session becomes a grind, thoughts, worries, plans, the past, and the future just get in the way. It’s you and the board negotiating away from sketchy tricks under the roving sky.
